Is Balance a one - time visit or long - term care?

Balance by WMHS is designed for long – term, relationship – based care. While some women begin with a lab review or single visit, most continue with us as we adjust and optimize their plan over time. You are always in control — no commitment, but full continuity.

Yes. We will verify your insurance benefits prior to your visit. If insurance does not cover labs or visits, we offer a self – pay option (245.00 new and 135.00 follow ups)
No. Balance is a long – term, functional medicine care track. While your care begins with a comprehensive lab panel and intake visit, we continue with regular follow – ups to adjust your plan as your labs, symptoms, a nd goals evolve.

Yes, in most cases. We will verify your insurance coverage prior to your first visit. If your plan does not cover the visit or labs, you may choose our self – pay option.

We include a comprehensive hormone and metabolic panel tailored to women’s health. This often includes:

  • Thyroid panel (TSH, FT3, FT4, RT3)
  • Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, SHBG
  • Insulin, A1c, glucose
  • Vitamin D, B12, ferritin, iron
  • CRP, homocysteine (inflammation markers)
Yes. Please upload or bring your existing lab results with you. If any labs are missing from our core panel, we may recommend follow – up testing to complete your assessment.
Not at all. Your follow-up schedule will depend on your symptoms, goals, and lab results. Some women check in every 4 – 6 weeks during active healing, while others come in every 3 – 4 months for lab reviews and plan adjustments.
If needed, yes. Your provider may recommend bioidentical hormone therapy, nutritional supplements, or lifestyle changes. We use Fullscript to deliver high – quality, professional – grade supplements directly to your door — but you are never required to purchase them.
No. Balance by WMHS is a functional and integrative specialty service. We do not provide urgent care or manage general medical concerns. We strongly encourage all patients to maintain a relationship with a primary care provider.
